Note to everyone who needs a new year as an excuse to work on theirselves
You, yeah man, it's you I'm talking to. Why the hell do you need a new year to get rid of your bad habits, when you had a whole damn year to do that shit? You don't need to postpone everything that requires time and character. Deal with your shit as soon as you realize it's real shit and no unicorn sparkle or something. Let me give you one small advice: don't let your changes depend on a new year, cause they don't. They depend on you. As much as you'd like to link a new year to a fresh start, your unfinished shit from last year will come after you and haunt you till you finished it.
Take care of it, learn from it and move on! May that be your new year's resolution!
In the coming 364 days, we will be writing a story of a new year, with closures in it from the last year(s), but also new beginnings. Some of these new opportunities may end not the way you'd liked, eventually you will learn from it and maybe find a new chance in the same place you lost one. There will be doors closing and opening. But the key to your happiness will mostly depend on you, so fucking rock it!
