Travel essentials
YAS YAS YAS YAS YAS, it's vacation! Time to explore some new cities, countries or maybe rediscover your own country. In any possible way, you can't just leave without some basic travel essentials. It's hard to pick exactly what you need, so even the smallest tips are welcome. I will pass you my tips in this blog, on condition that you pass yours!
Soon I will have a very looooooong distance flight, that means I have to be prepared. But on the other side, I can't bring too much. I'll have to pack as light as I can, but take all the essentials with me. Here are some stuff I take with me in my hand luggage.

Beats Solo 3 over the ear wireless headphones
I love to listen to my music while I'm on my way. I just have to connect them via Bluetooth to my mobile phone, open my Spotify and there we go. These headphones are super handy in different ways. One of them is that it's noise cancelling, that means that I don't hear anything besides my music. And that's not all! Am I the only one whose ears hurt after a long time wearing headphones? That's why I got the over the airs! In that way, it doesn't hurt that much cause it's OVER the air and not ON.

Waterproof and normal mascara
No one wants flared mascara on her face while swimming in the pool. I'm in love with the black superlash mascara from Maybelline, so I bought the same mascara, but the waterproof version for holiday! Bye bye flared mascara!

Magazines
It's definitely a basic. Checking out the new fashion trends, while waiting for your flight. I definitely prefer Elle, cause it's a good magazine and not to heavy. I also really love Vogue, but that's mostly so heavy that it's not very clever to bring that along.

A good book
It doesn't matter where you're going, a good book is never a bad idea. Always fun to read at the beach or in the plane or maybe in the car to the supermarket. But please, don't exaggerate in reading! Also enjoy your holiday, you can read that book at home too, but you can't see the beauty of the country you're in at home! The book I chose is 'The dry' from 'Jane Harper'. It's an Australian triller and I like it so far!

Sunglasses
The key to happiness, cause everything is better when you look at it through your sunglasses and certainly when they're pink! These black suuuuper fancy sunglasses are correcting, because I can't see without my glasses! They're from 'Ace & Tate' and so far I'm pretty happy with them!

Your (international)passport
Please guys, don't forget this one when you're going on holiday. Especially when you're going by plane. Otherwise you can't leave and you're gonna have to stay home! NOT FUN! Ooh a fun thing is definitely a cute passport cover! It's always so adorable!

A label to label your luggage
Labeling your luggage is a must! You never know where your luggage can end, maybe on the other side of the world? By labeling it, nice people can easily contact you to return it! And it's also easier for you to recognize your own luggage!

The Bucketlist Book for traveling
Bucket lists are soooo in right now. This book makes your trips 10 times more fun. It's filled with things you must do on your trips, like sleeping under the stars, taking a shower under a waterfall, etc. Besides, there are also so many super nice quotes for travelers. So for all the travel addicts: please go buy this book, this is what YOU need!

An adventure journal
It doesn't have to be the prettiest and most expensive one ever. Just a little note book, to make some notes on the way is good enough! I always like to re-read the holiday notes I made when I retrieve one of my adventure journals. It makes me feel exactly the same things as when I was writing it!

Instax Mini camera
These instant pictures are such fun! I love to make instant memories! They just always look so tumblr and retro.
I love to hang them in my room or stick them in my adventure journal! On my trip to South-Africa, I tried to make every single day a picture with it. It's so much fun to re-watch these pictures nowadays. Definitely a must!

Download your favo Netflix series & films
Having your favorite series with you is a great way to entertain you on your way to your destination! Make sure you download them, so you can also watch them without WiFi! My favorite series is definitely 'Pretty Little Liars'. The movies I can recommend are: The Kissing Booth, Reality High, Chasing Mavericks, and ... an all time classic: Twilight!
