Feminism

Feminism, we all heard about it, on social media, internet, TV, quotes on clothing, from a celeb, ... It is very 'in' at the moment, everyone's talking about it, but do we actually know what feminism is? It all started years ago, when women had no rights. For years and years, centuries long, men saw women as an object, they were 'just a thing', and men were deciding everything about women. They didn't even have the permission to leave the house, do politics or work or something. The only work they did, was keeping the house clean, preparing the food, helping the children, doing the laundry, ... Back then, men thought that that were all typical women things, but think again. After centuries of discrimination of women, women finally got rights. Now we're theoretically at par with men, but we're not where we want to be. Not even close. We want to be respected, be treated like a person, not an object. And yes, it's already a big difference with back then, but we still have to fight for our rights. In some counties, women still get no respect. Some women are still treated like an object, and that's NOT OK, we have to do something about it, it has to end. If a man discriminates you or disrespects you, BOY BYE. Welcome to the 21st century, the century where women finally get rights. And, of course, there are also many celebs who are feminists and fight for women's rights! Here is a short list of a couple famous feminists!

- Hillary Clinton

- Malala Yousafzai

- Emma Watson

- Barack Obama

- Angelina Jolie

- Beyoncé

- Madonna

- Taylor Swift

- Miley Cyrus

- Lana Del Rey

- John Legend

- Jennifer Lawrence

- ...

There are soooo many more celebs that are feminists. As you can see, not only women can be feminists, everyone has the right to come up for the rights of the women! Now that you know something (more) about the feminism, I hope I inspired you to fight for your rights! Whoever you are, however you look like, whatever gender you are, you have the right to be treated like a real person! So don't let them mess with you and fight for your rights! But remember, being a feminist doesn't mean you hate men, it means you want to be at par with men. Being a feminist doesn't mean you're a bitch, it means that you believe in equality! We have to remove the 'in' of inequality and there would already be thousands of problems out of the world!

- I think the concept op virginity was created by men who thought their penises where so important it changes who a woman is -
